Originally launched in October 2006 the forum has built up an incredible reputation among enthusiasts and members of the UK armed forces alike. Aircrews of the Royal Air Force look into the forum on a daily basis to see if they have been caught on camera in the low level areas. Membership of the forum is open to all those who apply, although to be able to view the full forum with unrestricted access you need to have made at least one low flying picture post. This may seem unfair but think of it another way, would you turn up to a party without a bottle? If everyone lurked, very little would get posted and the forum would end up like a morgue. You are most welcome to look at the daily postings of images and if you would like to purchase any images off the forum contact one of the admin team and we can arrange for the photographer concerned to contact you. If you look at the current issues of the aviation magazines you may recognise some of the images and names, remember you saw them all first here. In order to register for the forum you need a valid IP address, hosts such as Yahoo/google/Hotmail/demon/Msn/ etc are not eligable to be used to sign up with.

In the past we have worked with ITV and more recently the company who build the Typhoon aircraft, Eurofighter GMBH, they wanted to film the Typhoon in action at low level and sought our help and advice on where the best results could be had. So on February 29th 2008, the hills were alive with the largest amount of the RAF's frontile aircraft for a day that will never be forgotten. You will be able to see this footage if you visit the Eurofighter stand at the Berlin and Farnborough airshows.

Should you require a guide for film footage etc we are more than happy to work with you, please contact admin in the first instance, admin@lowfly.net, please email this address if you require a certain image from one of the forum members that as been posted on the website.
